I have read the threads and still am unclear. Does anybody really know the difference between Redline's Diesel Fule Catalyst and 85 Plus? And which is better for an 82 300 TD?
Weigh in and be heard! I am awaiting guidance from the resident experts! |

No Difference, Except Name & Label...
Ask the real experts.
Go to redline's website: http://www.redlineoil.com If you have read all the threads, you must have seen me repeatedly write that there is absolutely no difference between these two products. There used to be when 85+ was first forumlated, but when Redline determined that the new formula was better than the old DFC, and worked better for the older cars than the original formula, they replaced it completely. The only reason that they still bottle it under two names is to easily retain their existing customer base that existed for their DFC before the introduction of 85+. These products are available right here from PartsShop and FastLane.
