Coolant hose...where should this go?

So when i checked my coolant level the other day, i realized that the hose located under the cap was not connected to anything. I spent a while trying to figure out where the hell it's supposed to connect to and seriously can't figure it out.

I would imagine that this may be the cause of the slow coolant leak i have had lately...so if anyone could direct me as to where this hose is supposed to live that would be awesome.

Thanks
K

That makes sense...

but it seems like it spits a little bit of coolant out onto things all the time. Is there specific spot the hose should be pointed at? Because it is currently pointing towards the headlamps and causing a little puddle around there, which i have a few shop rags stuffed for now so it doesn't everywhere.

**thanks**

If its spitting its time to replace your coolant bottle cap and check your coolant mixture to make sure its 50/50.

I put mine down into the spring hole.

I stuck mine into an old antifreeze bottle that I strapped to the inner fender....
