Problem---there is a plug in on the back of the guage cluster just to the passenger side of the speedometer plug --description= rectangular in shape with the usual detachable back ala Benz electrics. The back popped off and wires came out. Need HELP!! The wiring plug has eight holes but only seven are used. Plug is numbered one thru eight....but wires are not numbered. What I need is where the wires go, eg. number eight wire is brown, number 3 wire is green, number 4 wire is gray, etc.

Don't know if you got this fixed. I've been researching speedometer repairs and came across this on another website. It appears to be for both plugs, before and after '85:
