Whats better? 1995 E300 D 375k miles or 1993 300d 200k miles

Just need a lil help deciding what car to buy.

Moving back to CAli and i love Diesel Mercedes! Currently own a 1984 300sd.

But yeah, looking to either buy a

1995 Mercedes-Benz E300 D

$7,000
Mileage 375,000
white

Or a

1993 Mercedes 300 D Turbo

With 200,000

For the same price.

Do you think 375,000 miles is too much.

What about a
1995 Mercedes-Benz E300 D

$9-10,000
With 140,000 miles

Thanks appreciate it!

For the same price, the 1993 300D. All three are the exact same body but with a different engine.

9-10,000 is way too much for a 1995. For that much you can get into a 1999 E300.

375k miles is just to much imho for 7 grand. Imagine the early 8's diesel you can buy for 7 grand.

The '93 2.5 turbo would be the one to get. Seems a little pricey to me though.

Both are horribly overpriced! Honestly I would not buy a used Diesel right now. You can get a really nice gasser for the price of an average oil-burner, and premium fuel costs at least 10% less per gallon, at least it does in metro ATL.

But, you more than make up for that 10% through increased fuel consumption.

Mileage isn't really important. Condition is.
