The single pods can be rebuilt with the kit.
Just spoke with George Murphy this morning and the kit for the dual climate pods is different. I ordered one of those too.

Brian, did you use the dual pod specific rebuild kit with bad results?

The dual pod kit requires you to install the diaphragm over the top of the existing diaphragm because it can't be removed. The new diaphragm is of a completely different length to accommodate this.

Use the kits for the dual diaphragms at your peril. The doors will never fully open (or close if it's the defrost diaphragm).

Talking to George Murphy, the pods are only around $34 for the duals, and $14 for the little diverter pod. My little black one at the footwell was $39 from George, I ordered it instead from *************** for $24. I probably should have tried our sponsor mercedesshop, but I didn't have their number on my cell.
