Yes, a W203 C30 CDI was available outside the US.

If they don't want Audi to pass them then they need to embrace Diesels.

I can't wait for my E69 CDI 4matic AMG :D
Imagine, a massive twin-turbo V8 producing upwards of 700 ft-lbs of torque...
They'd have to have AWD to tame all that twist :D
