Compression test kit
 

I need to test compression on 603 and 617 mb diesel engines,i dont want to buy extra adapters i wont nee and i want a good quality gauge.can anyone reccomend what i should buy?
Ive seen the china kis from harbor freight and e bay,not sure i want to do that.

normally i don't recommend the cheap route when it comes to tools, but i bought the $25 compression tester from harbor freight and it is actually not bad at all for the price. it came with the correct adapter and worked just fine for me. i figured for so cheap, if it was that terrible i would just trash it and buy a better one...but it's earned itself a place in my garage for the time being.
