Calling New Mexico Area Members

Greetings!

I live in Albuquerque, and know of two other New Mexico members on this forum. Are there any other members here in sunny (well, not today) NM?

I'd like to know if any NM and/or surrounding areas might like to get together for some tech-fun, or just sitting around and shooting the breeze over cold beer.

Anybody out there?

So that's four of us so far. Where are you located, Scott?

Duh

Now I see, Scott, that you are in ABQ.

Anyone else out there? Interested in meeting up at a local pub/restaurant for swapping MB stories?

That's a Good Group

Great! There are a few of us NM volks around. Between you guys who have joined here, and a few others around ABQ that I know, we could have a heck of a MB gathering, with plenty of nice cars to look at.

As the weather warms I may just try to put some kid of meeting together. Don't worry - drinking booze would not be a requirement! I'd rather the emphasis be on us meeting one another and showing off our rides.

In the meantime feel free to give me shout when you're headed down ABQ way. Would love to meet up and put some faces to names.

I come up to Santa Fe regular for business. Next time I'm coming up and have time to spare I'll let you know.

Later!

Shiny car is not a requirement - There's nothing wrong with patina!

As for tattoos, I've got one myself. ;-)

9 piercings 12 or 13 tatoos going in for another tat on wed
i go i little over board know too many artist since it is what i do.
good i always get a little apprehensive to show the car as i am constantly doing something to it.i also see all the flics of the nice cars and just think i slack too much on the car. its the first car i am getting to know inside and out by doing all my own work so sometimes it goes slower than i like. still saving for a servo and radio shocks all that. another month or so i guess.
have you been to the junk yard in abq. are the any parts cars there? i have called around to vegas nm and other areas but to no avail. i guess occasionally there are parts cars down there from what i hear.

cool well i look forward to seeing you gentleman and or ladies around.

The pick and pull on Broadway in ABQ is pretty good. There are usually 2-3 diesel Benzes there. I have pulled a number of good parts for next to nothing. Are you looking for any specific parts, or just looking in general? I am going to be picking up a 1981 300CD parts car for the engine next week, and I will be parting the rest out (other than a few odds and ends that I need). Stuuf will be going cheap as I just want the useable parts to go to a good home before I send the rest to the junkyard.
