I went to my upullit today as well, and came up basically emptyhanded for Mercedes stuff ( although I did score some good old Ford pickup stuff, including a rare oil bath air cleaner for my '67 F-100).

Anyway, since I am already filthy, I usually couple boneyard trips with a stroll around the household hazardous waste section of the dump (which backs up on the upullit). I usually find half-full jugs on unused anti-freeze, new oil somebody didn't want, etc.

Today I scored an unopened premixed quart can of Dupont Centari in Mercedes Light Ivory- just what I need to repaint the front fenders on the 240D stick.

Gotta keep your eyes open.

I struck out on saturday, only getting a heater hose and a vent, but today i was lucky. I finaly found a early 80's w126 with blue interior and pulled a headlight door ($.99) with only one tiny crack, passenger side carpet (5 bucks) a rear dashboard (somehow the sun bleached mine completely white) (8 bucks) and two intact 123 first aid kit lids, one blue and one black, 5 bucks a piece. Those will be sold on ebay for some cash, unless anyone calls dibs on them. I also stole a rear window switch and 8 intact monovalves
