Try your local 4x4 shop
Call any place that deals with 4x4 trucks. Those guys are always having driveshaft work done and would know the local shops.

I don't know what model/year you have, but on my '87 there's a single raised rib on the yoke, and on the mating part there are two raised ribs, I believe you simply line them up.

Mine is a 1984 300d, I thought the shaft could be put toghether wrong. Does anyone know for shure? I allso hammered in a new tail bushing. I was wondering if that new bushing could be the issue.
Thanks for your help guys. |

I think you are supposed to line up the ears on the ends of the shaft where the rubber donut attaches and that usually is enough. I don't know about the bushing you speak of. I have never replaced one.
If you think it might be the problem maybe you should post a picture for us. Tom W

If you have an 84 driveshaft, it should be factory marked. It is hard to describe how they marked them- there is a decent pic of it in the FSM.
