i wanna do that on my 126, but have a 2 filament bulb, low filament comes on with the fogs, and high filament comes on with the breaks.

not stock at all, but, it would be cool.

... suppose that will be on eBay in a few days. can't say I'd blame them, i choose to share my ideas here freely, my bad. Long Live Capitalism.

On my 126, 300sdl I used the foglight lens area and am running another parking light in there. Used the sockets from an old light assembly and am using a single filament bulb, I believe 10 watts and it matches my original parking light. It really brightens up the rear of the car at night.

We have the deluxe brake light mod on our cars... As we used an LED third light in addition to the normal mod.

Whoever that is selling that....they're making a killing! $14 + shipping?! The sockets would be free or close to free at the junk yard....those wire splices come 20/pk for $2.29 and the bulbs are about 60 cents apiece!

Maybe I will start selling such a setup.....I have like a dozen extra sockets.....or I could go find even more at the junk yard.

I guess for people that don't take the time to go pull the parts themselves, it's a good deal. Not a bad idea, not nearly as bad as the "Stage 2 intake kits!!!!!!11"

I'll take the time to type this although I could give a rats you know what.
A) whoever this is will not get rich.
B) I've see this same kind of thing complaining over WVO hardware.
C) It's a free world. What do you think China is doing.

i can never make time to get to a pick n pull, for that price I definitely considered it. remember you are paying for his time too. how many can you find in one yard at one time. I want to add a third light high in the rear window too, there are so many trucks on the road the cars need the third light to survive, most likely I will do it at the same time.

bingo. I worry about that with my wagon, I plan on wiring up a led brake light strip at the top of the window just for that reason.

Pick and Pull....

Yeah ......and my Pick and Pull lot is not open on Saturdays!!! I have to waste a day of PTO to go to the junkyard. It's probably going to be worth it though in about 3 weeks. I'm going to NEED a day/night off.

I added these brake lights about 10 yrs ago. I had the lights apart to see
why the 2 center lenses didn`y light up. then discovered there were no
sockets in it.
so I went to a wrecking yard in san Jose and the guy gave me a couple
broken lights. so I canablized the sockets and soldered them in, then
used heat shrink tubing. those crimp on connectors can cause corrosion
in time.

It sure wakes up the guy behind now. followed my wife a few times and
they sure are blinding.

thought adding this would help decrease my insurance some. but doesn`t
qualify as a third light, darn.

I have a bunch of sockets I have confiscated from picky pull, so I have
a lifetime supply.

There's not a darn thing wrong with somebody taking the time, effort and initiative to do that. Everybody complaining, did you first come up with this idea?
That kit makes it easy for others, it isn't a bad deal, and don't worry about what somebody else is doing.
You have the power, don't buy it......
Diesel911 didn't invent the glow plug reamer, but he has done a good job making up an affordable unit that does an excellent job.

I'll guess most of the above is tongue in cheek. At least, hopefully......

I agree. He said he was selling new parts. What would it cost if you bought these parts new from the dealer and the fuel to drive to there? I think the main thing that ruins it is the shipping; thats what sours it.
That being said getting the parts from the junk yard sound good to me. Also I have never even thought of doing it; so for me I give the seller credit for the idea.
