Assy diagram for old-style vac pump?
Rebuilding an old-style pump and it's been apart too long to remember how the valves go. The new style is obvious, now so with the old. So..., does anyone have a ling the valve assy/order for the old diaphragm style?? Thanks for anything I can get.

When I rebuilt mine on the car in the 77 300d, the only issue in reassembly seemed to have been which way the check valves went. Just make sure it can blow into the line going to the air cleaner and suck on the vacuum line. I seem to recall that you can suck and blow on those check valves.

With the new-style pump, there's no way to get them turned around because the cover hits if installed wrong.

The blow vs. suck method worked for me (1980 300 TD). My old valves seemed fine, so I put them back in. The diaphragm was the only thing I replaced. Steve
