to tint or not to tint...

That is the question. Does anyone have pictures of their cars with tinted windows.....

I am considering having my windows tinted, but am afraid it will junk up the look of the car.

Go for it. In the south it will help keep the interior cool, help the A/C and prolong the life of the materials inside. If you decide later you don't like it you can always have it removed. Just make sure you keep the tint to a legal level so you don't run into trouble with the law. I see no downside to it.

Tint! The tint really enhances the look of darker painted cars.

Makes a huge difference in summer also!! Not to mention saving interior....

**edit**
I will say, if you get it too dark in the back you will regret it when driving after dark. I do!!

Tint, definitely. It looks great and as has already been mentioned, it helps preserve the interior. I have to replace some of mine, but it looks great, especially on darker cars. Is yours black Spugeddy?

I have limo tint in the 3 back windows of my wagon and lighter tint in the 4 door windows. I love having the back window extra-dark. I'm usually blinded by the new super-bright headlights of cars and SUVs when the are behind me. The dark tint eliminates that issue.

i dont really like tint on the lighter color 123's, but it would look pretty good on black. i would go with the same color all around.

I'm going to get the SDL done this summer. My friend took his truck to a local place last year and they did a good job, charged him $300.

Nothing worse then a cheap tint full of bubbles, so its not a DIY project.

If you're going to try tinting a car yourself, w123's are as easy as they get. I tint all my own and my wagon was especially easy. No curves to deal with and they sell tint in wide enough rolls that you can do every window in one piece.

Buy the best tint material you can find and use PLENTY of water/solution during the application. If you screw up, it comes off very easily if you get to it before the adhesive cures. And you can always use denatured alcohol to help the removal. The worst that can happen is you're out the cost of the tint and the time you spent on it.

the examples look great and I will definitely get a tint job done as the AC just can't keep up with the southern heat.

I've always tinted my own and don't find it difficult at all. Much cheaper. You'll need new razor blades, a spray water bottle, a good small squeege, and clean windows. I would at least try one window, if you can't handle it, stop.

I need to do my wagon but I just don't feel like removing the stuff that is already there (PO had it done). I want the dark limo tint.
