Would you trade your e-klasse for an e-klasse?

http://www.edmunds.com/apps/vdpcontainers/do/vdp/articleId=117714/pageNumber=1

its amazing how badly I want that diesel. Its the same color as my w123, and I think im in love. Then the thought crossed my mind, if someone offered me to trade a brand new e320 for my 300d, would I? Then i realized hell no! When that things running out of bluetec juice the w123's still gonna be eating up the highway. if my w123 weren't in great condition, if it were a real rundown high super high mileage beater i would.

Would you? Just be serious, I know you can turn around and sell this thing and get alot of money, so lets not think that way (and no cheating, lets say you cant turn around and sell this for 5 mint w123's)

Just curious to see how much people love their old cars, and the new ones.

W123 isn't an E-Class, that didn't come around until the W124.

As a straight up trade for an E320 CDI, yes.
As a straight up trade for an E320 Bluetec, no.

Yea i dont like the bluetec either, sounds like it has ABSOLUTELY no future as an old classic just due to the emission control

I agree, the V6 would be a good engine if it were not choked by ridiculous emissions limits.

Nope, if I wanted a CDI or a Bluetec I would own one. New cars don't interest me.
