tar around injectors ?

I was looking under the hood today and noticed some very sticky black substance tar like around the first three injectors

any idea why would i have that tar there ? its very sticky and pretty thick

Most likely Oil leaked from your Valve Cover Gasket and got down there. From there the heat from the Pre-Chamber/Injector area burned or evaporated the Oil leaving the sticky solids to attract dirt.
