The pattern is in the FSM. You should not be attempting a 60x head R&R without the FSM. The pattern is circular from inside out when torquing, and reverse (outside in) when loosening.

Thanks! I got the FSM (I believe) on CD from the PO, so I should be good. Don't want to botch the removal and only have a chunk of aluminum to recycle with my bent wheel.

Good job.........now go and collect that $20.00 note for your efforts........but, you'll have to pull all the steel parts for that (cam, valves, etc.)

There are 3 mounting bolts at the flange, and one at the rear of the pump. Pull the vacuum pump, and remove the one bolt in the center, noting that this is a LEFT HAND thread. That's it...

we kinda dinked the head up.. around the sealing area for the valve cover.. It might be saved with some finessing.

I just removed the head after james took all the bolts off. The cam is off and the springs need to come out. The little cups that covered them for the cam I am keeping.. I think I could use them as candle holders or something.. my mom would like that.. lol

If someone needs that IP during the period of the auction, they'll pay $200 or $300 for it for sure.

But, if nobody has to replace an IP during that week...........nobody will pay more than $75. to just leave it around as a spare.

So, it's a difficult situation for e-bay. You're looking for the one guy who must replace his IP that week. What's the odds that two people need that IP and bid the price up...........effectively zero.
