Trans shifts too soon...
JimmyL just stopped by to pick up his GP reamer and we took a peak under my hood. I mentioned that my only driveability complaint is being in 4th gear by 30 mph under most throttle application, 45 mph if I'm pushing the carpet. It shifts out of first before 10 mph so any "need for speed" is met with my manually shifting. Jimmy looked at the vac line from the top of the IP and said it looked as if it were getting direct vacuum rather than restricted/modulated thru the green check valve(?) above the IP. Everything looks like OE set up.. Any suggestions ?
