Dashboard treatment
The dashboard on my 240D 77 is in a good shape, no cracks, but needs some form of polish to zing it up, what do you guys recommend, something easy to find locally, I am told not to use Armorall.

303 Protectant. Hard to find, but worth it IMO.

I use Meguir's - it's at PepBoys.
It is the same product MB rebrands for the dealerships. |

Vinylex by the folks who make Lexol.

3m Wet Type Silicone spray to prevent cracks and 303 Aerospace Protectant for UV protection. I buy them online, since neither are available in the local auto parts stores.

Einzette Cockpit Premium... Cleans and puts a light satin finish down..
|
if you go to the 303 website they will point you to local suppliers. I got mine at the Mercedes dealer in Tampa

For 303 find a local RV supply store. They use it on their tires to prevent rot. At $12,000 a set for a large RV they do what necessary to preserve them.

Ditto. 303 is great, lowsheen, not oily. Jim |
If you have a Shucks auto parts store in your area, they have been known to carry 303 lately.
(another vote for 303 Aerospace Protectant, if you couldn't tell.. :) ) |
