Don't be fooled into thinking CAT are all built in the US or Cummins or lots of others.
CAT build all over the world as is eg. Cummins (building in China)

There's a good biography -- I think actually it is an autobiography - of Mr. Cummins. He was an interesting fellow ... stuck one of his engines in a Locomobile & drove it to the New York auto show in the dead of winter ... with no heater hooked up.

It's a good read if your library has it, or can get it with the intrastate system. I read it in Sarasota, so any of youse Florida guys can get it.
