I'm considering towing a 16' camp trailer with my 1980 300sd. The car is in excellent mechanical condition and has plenty of power. Is this too much for my car?

2000 pounds w/o trailer brakes 3500 w/ trailer brakes.

As long as the tongue weight is under 200lbs and the total trailer weight is under 2000lbs.

What's the weight? Is it braked? One 123's I think the limit is 1500lbs unbraked and 2500 braked.

I've pulled an 1100lb flat trailer with building stuff loaded on it without an issue....hardly knew it was there. I'd say they can probably handle double that.

Most are rated 1500 no brakes 3000 brakes.
