Yes, if it were black I might have jumped on that myself too.

It's the early pebble grain pattern. Different on the later cars (leather grain).

If you have the elephant ear headrests, this is the correct pattern, if your headrests are flat across the top, wrong pattern.

He mentions just dashes, I wonder if they can actaully get the pattern correct? My 85 with blue interior is crackless but its only a matter of time. Even though it is a garage car and will soon be rarely driven, It will crack someday

lutzTD 02-26-2008 06:59 AM

that will probably end at the price of my car :( but I am watching

JackG 02-26-2008 07:02 AM

OH lutzTD.........Here's your dash:cool:.

vstech 02-26-2008 09:35 AM

are you boasting or advertising :) I would be interested in black. i could just change the dash and lowers to black and keep the rest blue. it works for the other colors.

Boardmonger 02-26-2008 12:49 PM

Yea, thats nice but its for a gasser. Early style pattern with no idle adjust hole.

Regardless, you can still get these new from MB, but as the ad says, it will cost nearly a grand!

No reserve, but I have been known to panic before the final 12 hours if something hasn't received a fair interest or bid, so you're forewarned.
My, what a classy statement to include in an eBay auction description!

I just finished wrestling with the pros and cons of going to a black dash in an all blue interior. Someone pointed out that it might not look right where the blue console meets the black dash so I painted the black dash blue and all is well now, came out very nice, wife even likes it:D
