AC O-ring lube?

Got a reman. compressor ready to install. The helpful but generic instructions allude to using 'o-ring lube'. Being totally new to ac work,
I don't exactly know what they are talking about.

Is this something special for o-rings? Napa doesn't seem to know.

Are they just referring to compressor oil to coat the o-rings?

The main reason I am wondering all this is that it looks like something sticky would be useful to hold the o-ring in place. Even more helpful with the expansion valve.
