not stolen, just a foriegn clone, he likely bought it from ebay, his unit is just a laptop with an RS232 to RS485 interface cable, original mercedes units have a docking station and the main cable is RS485 to RS485, the latest ones are a tablet Pc with touch screen, the computer and the cables definately are not from mercedes.
