W210 Headlight Lens

Hi,
On my 1999 E300,the headlight lens are fogged up.I bought brand-new OEM Hella lenses and am wondering how to replace them.Can anyone tell me how to install them?

On the other models I have replaced lenses on you need to remove the headlight assembly and there are a series of clips around the perimeter you remove and the lens comes off. There's usually a rubber gasket that needs to be replaced too so you might want to make sure you have one before you tackle the job since they will leak if the gasket doesn't seal 100%.

Same has happened with our E320/97
One other way to revive the cover is to sand them and then apply plastic polish, this requires no disassembly.
What is surprising is that the Euro headlights on my 77 240D have remained crisp and clear after 32 years of weather exposure, must be a much more durable plastic material used for 123 cars.

I just picked up a $20 headlight lens restoration kit from Autozone. Can't wait to try it...

I wasnt too pleased with it, I ended up doing the following

Wet Sand with 600 then 1000 then 2000. Then polished with Rubbing compound then with Mequires Plastix. They came out pretty good.
