OM616 filter replacements

Hello all and hope all is well with all of you!

My newly acquired benz, '78 240D, will soon require both fuel filter and oil filter replacements. Could one of you fine individuals run me down on the process? I am very familiar with vehicle repair, but I have some questions.

1. Does the oil filter bowl have to be drained of oil before I remove the filter?

2. Does the injector pump need to be manually primed after fuel filter replacements, or do I just have to fill up the spin-on with diesel?

3. Is there only one pre-filter? Mine appears to be in the engine compartment.
