Passed Emissions!

Took my sniffer test today. 20% opacity allowed, actual 2%.

The kid doing the test had to go and get the boss. He wasn't about to believe that a 25 year old Mercedes Benz 300DT would pass that easily.....with 284,515 miles on it.

Boss says "let him go, these cars were built to a standard that the rest of the world STILL hasn't caught up to in 25 years"!

Yep! I set the timing forward by 2 degrees to 26 BTDC* and adjusted my IP for maximum throttle out put.

127 miles driven and 3.82 gallons used. 33.24 MPG on Phoenix freeways at 75......Priceless!

I bet it would have been a 0% on biodiesel....

Sounds like you've got a good running engine!

It is probably 99.9 so they get all the tax credit. How much are you paying for it?

It is a dollar more here. They can't raise it fast enough to stay ahead of the petro price.

$4.59 a gallon??? Yeah, I'll just wait and see if the governor passes the highway tax credit bill into law. Oh, God I'm so glad to move to Goldwater Country!

Its probably more than that here.....I am going to call tomorrow just out of curiosity. I'm hedging bets that its over $5 a gallon for B100 delivered.

You have to emissions test your diesel cars in AZ? Here in CA, they don't require it.
