w123 sun roof swap.
i've got a 300td w/ man sun roof. previous owner told me at time of sale that the scratches on the sun roof lid were from the lid poping off car while on i95so . have parts to make repairs to the other parts he lost bent on 95. but the top from the parts car is china blue.
have access to a 123 w power top thats same color as my wagon. are the tops interchangeable. i sure the rest probably isn't and have all that covered. just would like to have a top that matches vs one that didn't. thanks |

I pretty sure the lids on the W123 & W126 are the same size.
The DIY section at the top of the page is really helpful. I have the manual parts off a doner car, ordered a few new pieces from MB. as soon as they come in this week the electric junk is going by bye. Some of the parts from MB are a little pricy. just the arm with the little black roller is $83.00 for one side. I was just interested what it would cost. the recessed chrome piece the handle fits into is $7.08 part# 123-780-01-63, and the pins that hold the handle in are $6.20 part# 123-586-00-78. Charlie☺
