Removing the rear 1/4 windows on 300TD is easy!
I figured it out on my own it was so easy. I pulled some of the metal trim, well I removed screws and loosened the trim up. My goal on pulling the trim and the rubber seal is to remove them so they are in good shape and can be reused. So the trick with the rubber seal is from the inside of the car you just start with a screw drive rolling the seal so that the edge goes to the other side of the metal lip on the body on the car. Just keep doing this starting from the back and working your way around, at some point you will start to need a hand on the other side then you can just start pushing the gasket and it will basically pop out. That was cake! Then you get to find the rust hole. Must just be a low point for water to hang out. I thought it was from the screw in the trim but there wasn't any rust at the screw hole. Maybe the trim vibrates a little and rubs the body to get things started.
