Is Turn Signal/Cruise Control switch one unit on 85 300D?
I want to get my Cruise Control running again. Is the Turn Signal/Cruise Control switch one unit on 85 300D?
Finally is this thing that hard to replace? I had the steering wheel off as well as the plastic molding underneath. I saw four screws but they were electrical contact screws I think... |

easy to do , pull back rubber boot and two screws hold it in and then the electrical connection, are you sure its the switch? many other reasons for CC failure, switch is not at the top of the list
cruise control amplifier, vaccum lines all must be ruled out

The switch is a separate unit from the turn stalk but its rarely the problem. As meltedpanda said, eliminate the amp, plug on the back of the speedo, actuator brake switch first and brake lights first.
