84 300d turbo diesel
I am in the process of replacing my motor mounts, does anybody no what direction the slope on the metal oil guard thats on top of the motor mounts goes just want to make sure there in the right direction.

The downhill part goes down. I think this is what you're talking about. The mount kind of sits in the little pocket and the 8mm bolt comes up through the bottom.
