I would love to upgrade the seats in my 1972 220d to firmer, leather, seats rather than the very worn, original vinyl seats in the car now. Seats from what other model mb's will fit my car? Where would you all look for used, leather, mb seats.

A well recommended local (Portland , Oregon) upholsterer estimated he would charge about $1100/(front) seat for re-doing the seats himself. I wonder if I couldn't find very serviceable, firm, leather seats in good shape for a lot less than this.
