just installed new nozzles

Just installed my new Monark nozzles I received from Sean. All I can sway is WOW. My car was using too much fuel and running like crap. What a difference. Followed the instructions from diesel giant. Take your time and use a torque wrench to re-tighten. No leaks and it has been 2 days since the install. Never took them in to pop test. After cleaning the injector parts with gasoline, I just put them back together in the same order I took them apart. Here is a link to pics of the old nozzles.

i bought some bosios two days ago from an ebay seller (not imation scam, he bought them from diesel giant and totaled his car before they were installed) for only 140 bucks for five, plus heat shields. I cant afford to pop test them but my car gets bad fuel economy and shakes bad when hot. I hope this fixes it!

I was bidding on that auction too! Ah ha! Its ok, I was hoping to snag some for like $30. :D I already have a set installed and they are awesome. Good luck with them. From the issues you described I would think the new nozzles will improve things.

My old nozzles looked as bad or worse than the ones in those pics. The pintle valves had so much wear that they slid/fell right out of the nozzle with no friction!

The internet sure is a small place!

Curious, are these bosios louder? I want my diesel to sound like a cummins :D

What about power.

What about fuel economy

The idle is a little louder (slightly, but very smooth) with the bosio's......the off the line power/torque is noticeably improved, and the fuel economy will go up slightly...I saw about 1.5-2mpg better afterwards. I also saw a reduction in exhaust smoke.

All around they are an excellent improvement.

Cummins have such a cool sound partly because they are an I6 direct injection diesel, just like you'd find under the hood of your favorite semi. :D ;) 5.9 liters helps too....more liters to make more sound. :D

I'm glad to help keep these old 'real' cars on the road.
