The local station by my house in Long Beach CA has lowered the Diesel Fuel price from $4.09 to $3.97 since yesterday!

anyone else noticing used diesel prices dropping?

I keep my eye out for diesel W201s, especially turbos, and they seem a couple thousand cheaper lately.

I get to change the prices at the gas station attached to the grocery store where I work and yesterday I got to drop diesel a dime to $3.69 and raise unleaded six cents to $3.05. It was a good day.

Gas has held steady at $3.35 in Ithaca for the last month at least. Diesel has slowly crept up...the station that I drive by that has it is $4.25 Good thing I drive the Subaru here

When I came back from spring break, the cheapest diesel back home in Tacoma was $3.79. At the beginning of that week it was $3.52. Now at that same station it's $4.00.

Looks like the Big Oil Companies are playing a shell game. They raise the price in one area until people camplain enough; lower it in that area but raise it in another area.

What happened was oil was at 111 dollars a barrel when diesel hit its peak. It then dropped 11 dollars to 100 dollars a barrel, and went up a few days ago 6 dollars again. The price lags behind the price of crude. It will go up again or stay steady

Correction: The price lags in falling due to lower crude prices, but seems to rise automatically with higher prices. Funny how that works.

Around here diesel has come down maybe 5-10 cents depending on the station, but its still $4.05+ everywhere. Gas has actually gone back up, it had lowered to about $3.09 for a little while, but now its back up to $3.39

I actually enjoy fuel price threads. Interesting to see the price differences people are experiencing. I don't even want to know what they want for B99/B100 around here. Probably like $5+
