300D won't start - need help
Hi. I can't get my 300D started. It started two days ago perfectly and right up. When I turn the key, it just turns over and over and doesn't fire. The glow plug light doesn't come on. I live in Miami. Is it the glow plugs here? It is very warm out today but the car is parked in my garage.
Thanks. |

IF compression is good push it out into the sun and let the engine bake. then cranks it.
i would say you have something wrong with your GP system, one(or more) bad GP, a blown 80A fuse, or a bad relay. get the GP system back up and you should be good

It sounds like glow plug/plugs or controller to me. They are necessary even in warmer climates. Either that or the vacuum shut-off valve

Almost certainly a glow plug problem. Check for voltage at the plugs with the key in glow position. If no voltage, check the strip fuse. If voltage, check the resistance of each plug.

but with no plug light on the dash, I would lean towards the #1 plug, the fuse or the controller
