At the NorCal GTG last weekend, everyone was throwing gravel leaving the cheese factory in Petaluma. It helps to be turning left. Also consider that as MB trannies fade, they take longer to engage. Put the lever in D, push on the pedal, revs build before the tranny engages.

My car won't chirp the tires on dry pavement but I can swing the tail around with moderate pedal pulling a u-turn.
