w220 320cdi non start esp light on
 

please help,intermittent non start fault.vehicle starts ok initially but after a journey when you come to restart.esp lights up and vehicle does not start.engine does not turn over whilst esp is on.when esp goes off after a few tries it starts.thanx in advance for your replies.

What year?

How old is the battery?

2002.brand new battery.

If you've had recent battery voltage issues the steering angle may need to be re-set. Turn the steering wheel lock to lock a few times to re-set.

Don't think that should result in a no start condition though......
