anyone have any good pics of this?
I have an 87 300 TDT and I would like to remove/disconnect the EGR. Anyone have a link with pics on how to do this? I don't care if it stays on the car if that is acceptable I just want to try it unhooked. Not sure where to find it in all the mess of hoses in there.

Put a BB in the vacuum line to disable it.

sorry my car is at the body shop so i can't take a photo but the egr is pretty easy to find, to the far left of the engine bay, just above the turbo, the top of the egr valve looks like a silver flying saucer. there is a vacuum line out the top of it, if you put a small BB or ball bearing inside this line the valve is disabled.
i think if you search here you'll come up with photos if that description doesn't make it clear enough.

also- if you dont have any BB guns- I just pulled the hard plastic line from the rubber connector and melted it closed w/ a Bic lighter. reinstall- looks like nothing happened, easy to reverse by trimming the line 1/4"
