190D 2.5 Vacuum pump question

I have an 86 190D 2.5. I tested the vacuum pump today at the brake booster. It had low vacuum (i.e. erractic between 10 & 15 in vacuum.)

My question is this. I know on older 240D's you can get a rebuild kit for them. I'm not finding one anywhere for 190D's. Is it possible to rebuild the pump? Or do I need to drop $300+ on a new pump.

Thanks.

No one has figured out how to rebuild the pump.
