Mercedes Hybrid Diesel Bus

The hybrid diesel bus is been tested in NY. Wonder whether a hybrid diesel car is in the works for the US or anybody knows whether Mercedes has a hybrid diesel car in Europe?

At the auto show they had a big display showing how they plan on making some hybrids and then hyrogen fuel cell vehicles.....I don't think they are actually mass-producing any hybrids yet....just test vehicles....

Houston's METRO system already has a few 40 ft New Flyer low floor hybrids. The oldest one is a late 90s model converted into a hybrid, and is the only old model hybrid they operate. The newest ones were received last year.
