2005 e320 cdi wont start
Dis not drive it for one full year, agm 900 cca battery left on mantainer started rigjt away and drove for 3 days day and night, not wont start even w new battery? Glow plug light not coming on but whole cluster does come on, red battery simbol on.
Any ideas? Greatly appreciate any help

Is it spinning and not firing, or won't even try to spin with the starter?

Got a new battery still wouldnt start then i placed it on. Charger and replaced aux battery as well now running good. Red battery warning gone also
|

problem came back, when cold starts fine

So i basically can start it and drive it fine when cold every morning, but if i drive a few miles and stop once it reaches normal
operating temp then it wont start

the glow plug light wont come on and no starting or even a click. I also noticed that the tilt wheel function diesnt come on either

Im using my scan tool and inhave found many codes
P231 1 P231 2 53F0 4A430 930E 9081 terminal 61 signal cable open circuit 9029 9078 90c0 (i just replaced air con inside sensor) 9205 (stored) 9348 9021 9024

What is the voltage of the battery when this happens?

Terminal 61 I believe is the voltage regulator, if so you need to replace it. I had that error and I actually replaced the entire alternator, and it was a pain in the you know what!
