Drivers Armrest for 123
When did Mercedes start adding a center arm rest for the driver in the 123? Was this a option?

Option. my 84 doesnt have one. man thats annoying :)
i don't think i have ever seen one on the older style seats
The last page of my little "glove box" parts book (cat F) shows the two types and the horizontal brace. I cant say for sure that I remember seeing an arm rest on the "early" W123s.

I have an 85 with no armrest, but I would like one. It's palamino if anyone has a spare?
If you find one in any color, that upholstery dye/paint works very well, epically in palomino.
All of mine, from my '78 to my '85 have had a center arm rest.
my 78 240 had an arm rest.

I have a pre spring of 1982, in 1982 the armrest was changed to the W126 style. I found this out after I got it on Ebay and it would not fit. I will sell it if anyone wants it.
Pre 1982 tall unit in palomino. And it's in very nice shape. $35 plus shipping Link to pictures on a post I did about it http://www.peachparts.com/shopforum/showthread.php?t=163096&highlight=armrest+300td+dave Dave |

I wonder if this would fit on my 81 240D? |
I'm the second owner of my '79 300D. It has an armrest attached to the drivers seat. The guy I brought from said it was a "stock vehicle".
my previous armrest in palomino was a storage compartment type.. I think it was out of a w124.
Had one on my '79 240D.... sawed it off with hacksaw, hated the darned thing, dipped too low to be useful when driving, also blocked driver's reach to backseat like when reachin into the cooler during a road trip.

Can you still order them new?
