Oh, No! And with summer heat coming too!
I pulled into my driveway yesterday and turned of my AC, pushed the off button in right? Well, it didn't want to stay off, but the heat came on instead and I tried everything to get it to stop, right up until the pushbutton unit decided it was a really great time to eject it inner parts, buttons, springs, a couple of white sticks and a piece of metal that looked like the inside of a slide switch!
I had to pull the climate control out and disconnect it for the heat to go off! Why couldn't it just stay stuck on AC? I wouldn't have minded that, well the starter might have! Oh, well! Looks like I'm going to spend some money today! It does have 286,891 miles on it! |

KR966,
Where you be at? Any Pick and Pulls in your area? Telephone German Potomac and see if they've a "Used but not Abused" unit.

The easiest (but not cheapest) is to get a rebuilt unit from GDL.

Arizona. I found a Remanufactured unit here in Phoenix! $200.00, not to bad, must be my lucky day!

Oh bummer, that $$$ could have gone towards some new upper control arms...

Mine's the opposite, it doesn't get enough heat until I keep tapping it. Probably something loose, it works when it works, just not always
