Abnormal Temps
 
Well summer is rolling in and as that happnes my Temp Guage tend to go up too, it sits at 100*C and fluxuate to 105*C, is there any thing to get my temp to 85*C, and do you think high temps may cause bad mpg???

Have you replaced your thermostat? Also probably a good idea to clean and flush the whole cooling system.
Higher temps should not adversely effect fuel mileage. Lower temps would however.

yes i have replaced my Termo twice, but i did not flush the cooling system, Now where can i get my hands on that cirtrus flush :confused:.....

Temperature sender on the head, replace it. Costs $12 and takes 10 minutes to change.

One can be plagued with high temps with these cars for various reasons. Both my 240Ds were running a little too warm, finally did the right combination of cures and they've been doing fine. First check with one of those infra red heat sensors too see if its really that warm. I would try another OEM T stat, make sure the arrow is pointing up.

Hose This Removes The Air
