I just got a 1979 300SD 116 turbo with only 156,000 miles that was parked for the last 4 years.and I just love this car. it is very luxury and the styling is classic. the interior is super clean with only a few scratches on the body. it handles like a dream and turns on a dime. Now running it on B99 biodiesel. it also hauls ass but I only took it up to 100mph so far. quite a surprise compared to my old 1976 300d 115. (this one is slooooow) The drivers window has a broken window track (inside door panel). I think it will be hard to find the replacement but I am able to open a couple of inches before it falls. the blower will only come on sometimes but I do have warm air. the AC has no belt but I don't need it living on the coast. otherwise it in great shape. is there anything I need to know about a car that had been parked in storage for 4 years? fluid changes? etc...?
Any other information about this rare mercedes would be appreciated happy with the 79 116
