'85 SD, W126, CC blows only thru defrost vents. I went thru the system and checked the pods, valves (found #1 bad, replaced) and resoldered then swapped out the CC unit.
It appears there's insufficient vacuum at the valve rack (red line) to do what the valves are calling for.

I'm usually one to search this out but, I'm needing help on this one.
