I'll bet a strait 6 came out of the truck. Nice to drop an L5 diesel in there. Sweet.

The truck was an original L6, but someone had stuck a 318 Mopar in there along with an attempt at putting a Plymouth Volare suspension under it. :eek:

Whoever attempted to install it had no idea of how to go about it safely, the frame was so chopped up I decided to cut it in front of the cab mounts and graft on a Lincoln frame clip instead. I admit the truck still doesn't ride like a Town Car, but a lot of that has to do with weight and body mounts.

beginning of this yr I did sold a w123 turbo Dsl to a dude who dropped the engine into something like this, it ran very well as i was told.
