How to remove electrical wiring covers
There's a black plastic covering on the driver's side of the W123 that runs from the back seat towards front of the car. Electric wires and the antenna wire run underneath. My question is, how do you get that plastic covering off of the floorboard? I looked for some screws, didn't see them.

The small black plastic button appearing things are what holding the cover to the floor. Us a split screwdriver and pry the head of the button off. You will notice the button is a T shaped, or mushroom shaped unit. The shaft goes into the base and spreads the base out which holds the assembly to the floor.
Picture #53 and 54 show how to remove the buttons. The glove box units are gray and the onse under the carpet are black. http://www.peachparts.com/Wikka/W123Evaporator Dave
