Need Advice

I have recently bought a '80 300CD. I have been making biodiesel for a few years and finally got sick of driving a 3/4 ton work trick everywhere. I have already made the necessary fuel hose changes for biodiesel, but want to make the car top notch. I am used to valve adjustments and regimented oil changes, but what else should I make a point to do to make this thing pure like a kitten? Also, I am not opposed to beneficial modifications that any of you may know of. Thanks in advance to all who take the time to respond.

Keep extra fuel filters in the car with you.

Adjust the valves, change the fluids and drive!
