85 300d wont start

Well I left my 300d parked for 4 months and now it wont start. The battery was dead so I bought anew one, put it in and it wont start.

It just turns over without starting. I primed the fuel at the pump but it will still will not start.

I also noticed that the light for the glow plugs does not light up anymore.

Almost certainly a glowplug problem. Get out your multimeter and check for voltage at the plugs. If no voltage, check the strip fuse. If you have voltage at the plugs, check the resistance of each plug. Should be less than 1 ohm.

I pull the plug on the fender well and check thru the pin holes right?

Ok I put the multimmeter on the 200 scale

1. 77
2. 9.3
3. (no reading)
4. 5.1
5. .8

Looks like only #5 is good. I'd change them all.
