bubbles in differential fluid, hmmm

anyone ever see 'foam' in their diff fluid?
I drained mine today and had driven it very little at low speed, and it had an amount of bubbles.
What do you think?

Moisture?

Trapped then warmed? causing corrsion of interior housing?

once the lube undergone thermal breakdown it can foam. How old is it?
